The Peer-Learning Council finished the fourth session of Best Practices: “Organizations and Culture.” Participants took a deep dive into implicit and explicit bias and learned how to utilize the D.I.E. model: Describe, Interpret and Evaluate. Understanding these concepts will help us recognize more clearly how our perceptions can be barriers to both ourselves and also our organizations, especially as we all work on being more intentional with our diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
In February, session five will focus on meeting organizational goals: intent vs. impact.
Many thanks to the Peer-Learning Council for their continued dedication to making these sessions as impactful as possible.
