Inclusive Dubuque ramping up efforts


From poverty simulations to a response plan to future hate crimes, efforts to make Dubuque more equitable and welcoming have started to ramp up.

Disturbed by the tenor in this year’s presidential election and reports of post-election bullying and harassment, Inclusive Dubuque network partners have seen growing support for the communitywide diversity initiative, said Eric Dregne, vice president of strategic initiatives at Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque. The foundation helps coordinate activities and share information.
